Well, it has definitely been a couple of weeks since my last post. I haven't had a lot of free time on my hands. Much has happend! The short version...

About 10 days ago we were in the middle of preparing for our Christmas dance for church this past Sun. and I fell in rehearsal and tore a ligament in my right ankle and I've been on crutches ever since. Sadly, I wasn't able to perform in the Christmas Cantata, but God has taught me a lot through it and I enjoyed watching. I was in the ER twice within 3 weeks and I wouldn't wish that upon anyone, but it really tested my faith and I am doing well now (had a hard time at first). The Christmas service went great and I got to watch and take pictures so that was a lot of fun and I got to meet and talk to a lot of people during the 3 services since I was pretty much on my own... so I really did enjoy it.

Also, in the midst of all that we had finals. That was not so fun. Lots of cramming in our free time (which wasn't much!) but we all buckled down and studied as a team and I think we did well- we just finished with our last final today.

I am now in Atlanta for the holidays. I drove on Wed. with my left foot and kept my right foot up the whole 6 hours. Yea, I really don't enjoy that trip by myself. :) And had a hard time saying goodbye to all the girls because now I am in Atlanta for a month, but I am sooo glad to be on a break and have finals behind me!

We had a super fun Christmas party the night before I left at the girls apartment and we had SO much fun. Stayed up late and did secret santa, pizza, sweets, tooks pictures, etc. It was an asbolute blast. All of the girls there have become like family and it's so weird to think that at the end of this next semester it will all be over!

Although, I am now officially in the middle of choreographing a show (on crutches) and rehearsals start tomorrow...It's is gonna be intense. But, honestly, I am so excited. It has been been a long time since I have done any choreographing and it's going to be for a great bunch of teens so I really can't wait.

Alright, well, I still have mucho choreography to work on so back to work. :) Merry Christmas!

It's About That Time

Wow, do I ever need to vent a little. Ok, maybe not just a little, but A LOT.

I am so overwhelmed right now with school and work and choreographing a show and...there's just too much to do. Too much to do with no time to do it. I don't even know where to start.

There's a lot on my mind other than just the basics. I'm undergoing a lot of changes it seems. Mostly heart and life changes. Some good, some I can't quite put a finger on, but I know it's coming...I just don't know how yet. I'm thinking long-term life stuff lately. Where am I going to be in 5 years? I don't even know where I'm going to be in 6 months...let alone 5 years! Not that I need to know at this moment, but it'd sure be nice to have a little preview.

Well, I'm reading The Shack. It's been interesting to see the responses I've gotten so far about the book. It seems people are either highly supportive or highly disapprove of it. I'll let you know what I think when I finish it. It's just that kind of book you can't really put down (I just have to for now cuz I'm in the middle of finals and need to spend my time reading text books--oh joy!)

Christmas break is coming up.....Praise the Lord!! I am so excited to see my family and friends back in Atlanta. Not sure that I'm going to make it to Michigan this break...

Unfortunately, I am in a very sarcastic mood and ready to go out of my mind at any given moment. It's been a rough day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
